This SketchUp model was inspired by the wonderful turning entitled 'Orbit' by Randy Rhine (http://www.randyrhine.com). The laminated design of the sphere was made by creating three designs in Lamination PRO and then projecting them onto a portion of the sphere. This process lets you see exactly what a design is going to look like after it is turned.
